This album showcases some pictures taken during my 13 days trip (18-30 Sep 2016) to Caucasus Georgia organised by Levart Travel.
The road cum rail trip, covering Tbilisi, Gori, Mtskheta, Kazbegi, Eniseli, Kutaisi, Mestia, Svaneti & Ushguli, took us through medieval villages, fortresses, towers & monasteries scattered across the rolling Caucasus mountains.
Located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe & Western Asia, Georgia is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Covering an area of 69,700 square kilometres, it has a population of 3.75 million. Though it gained pubic establishment only in April 1991, this small country has a rich culture & history.
